My name is Maksim and I am a team lead of team Levaki.
Our case is an alternative frontend for Kolibri protocol, a self balancing algorithmic stablecoin built on Tezos.
Hundreds of new DeFi projects launch on Tezos each day. To succeed and become wide popular, a web3 project needs to comply with one key factor: be user friendly.
While current. Kolibri website is a great tech solution, that solves users’ problem, it lacks simplicity and clarity in user experience.
Users can easily get lost in long technical documentation and list of ovens which they can't interact with. To sum up, Kolibri is losing potential users and money because of unfriendly design.
We decided to address this issue by adding user-friendly interface that was inspired by the best and well-known projects on DeFi market, such as 1inch and hubble protocol. Our most common user persona is just a regular cryptocurrency owner, who wants to protect his savings from liquidity/floating rate. His main goal is to obtain stablecoin, and our website needs to provide him with an easy and quick tool to do it.
And that's exactly why we introduce a new core feature - a built-in native swap.**Kolibri loses
substantial amount of users to DEX'es, where obtaining coins is much easier and faster, and this update can help to attract customers to native Kolibri website, instead of others.**
Moreover, for more experienced users, our team provided a new interface to interact with ovens, making minting process much more understandable. I think, the best way to summarize our vision for the future of Kolibri project, is the logo change: we went from over-detalised and complex to simple and modern.
Our suggestions will help tezos community to grow even bigger and transform kolibri into hawk. In future, we plan to implement tools for arbitrage trading, take coins for swaps from our own hosted liquidity pools, improve swaps times, and much more.
